MEET LAUREN
Hi, I’m Lauren
Functional nutritionist, HTMA practitioner, and birth & postpartum doula, helping women get back to the foundations in every season of life.
Born and raised near the Ozark hills of Missouri, now rooted in Montana.
Where it all started
I grew up in Missouri playing in creek beds with my siblings, foraging for wild mushrooms with my dad, and cooking fresh meals with my mom. Somewhere along the way, I lost that connection.
After walking through my own illnesses and nutrient depletions, I realized how much our disconnection from food, community, and the world around us was making us sick.
So I made a big change. I left my corporate job, moved out west, and went back to school for my master’s in Human Nutrition and Functional Medicine. I started cooking again, getting to know the plants that grow around me, and stepping into birth rooms as a doula.
In every space, I noticed women were craving the same thing: deep nourishment and real connection. That’s what Murphy Wellness is here for.
What I believe
Your body isn’t broken, and your symptoms aren’t random. Given the right nourishment, it knows how to heal, adapt, and find its balance.
That’s why my work always comes back to the foundations: real food, ancestral living, rest, and minerals.
A little more about me
What I’m known for
Turning lab results into a grocery list, and a grocery list into dinner.
What I’ll happily debate over dinner
That butter, broth, and a real breakfast belong in every woman’s day.
What I want you to believe
Your body isn’t working against you. It’s asking to be nourished.
